I have recently been working with the Government of Jersey on their new Mental Health Network campaign something that is close to my heart. I spoke openly about my personal experience with my mental health and past experiences.
I won't lie being part of this campaign scared me slightly as I was scared about what the response would be and I had to realise that talking openly about my mental health in my position/job makes me a little vulnerable but it's so important to speak out about it.
You can watch the video here:
The Jersey Evening Post also did a story on how I have helped amplify the campaign. There is nothing to be ashamed of when it comes down to mental health. It's okay not to be okay.
