The Big Bake 2019

We are throwing it back here to 2019 when I took part in the The Big Bake!

I was kindly asked to be part of the Media Team for the The Big Bake Jersey alongside my co-worker at Channel 103 and Breakfast presenter, Peter Mac, Sara Felton, Ben Davies and ITV's Emma Baker. This basically was an epic cooking competition to make the best Afternoon Tea created by Freedom Media to raise funds for Jersey Cheshire Home.

Now, if you know me personally you'll know that I am not the brightest when it comes to cooking and the thought of cooking an afternoon tea for over 30 people was daunting but it was all about raising money for charity! We had weeks of training with Andrew Soddy at the L'Horizon Hotel. We managed to put on a wonderful afternoon tea with a theme of Jersey Gems, I've popped a little picture of our final display below.
